A little bit late but here's a toast to 2011! :)))
Started 2011 with a bit of a mood dampener -- We were at Genting celebrating Mummy's birthday and the weather was pretty misty that night! Amidst waiting for the fireworks display, we completely miss the beginning of 2011 and not surprisingly, the fireworks display were cancelled! -____-
Had to miss CNY for the second consecutive year, returned to Newcastle feeling extremely homesick. I was really lucky though, my friends were more than happy to host me for my first 2 weeks, making returning to Newcastle a wee bit more bearable.
Commenced clinical school in a brand new place, much closer to Sydney. However, i was homeless for more than a month, so i had to travel back and forth for classes daily! (3 hours of traveling everyday fml! T_T)
Got sick of traveling, found myself a place to stay but i live on top of a hill! The hill is so steep that i always have to stop midway to pant (There was once i swore my lungs fell out wtf), complained to daddy and he got me a car (in time for my birthday)! T____T Why am i so lucky? T____T
Jon moved into his new place and i played right-hand-builder-assistant and a HUGE wood plank fell on my foot the day before i was scheduled to head back to KL for my Easter break (I was really fortunate, i went back home 3 times in 2011!), my foot swell to the size of a dinosaur from the flight FML! Saw an orthopaedic surgeon and he was more worried of my bunions (He suggested i start wearing SNEAKERS! *horrified*) so i ignored him and wore heels right after seeing him FHL!
Visited Seoul for the first time during my Easter Break along with my sisters! :))) I love trips with my sisters cause we're all at about the same adventurous level (We'll go all out to have fun but maybe not jungle-hiking-bungee-jumping-adventurous wtf), must return to Hello Kitty cafe please!
Found my childhood bestie back in Sydney! :))) Who would have thought that 10+ years down the road, we'll end up in another amazing city and the best part is that we can still click like the way we used to! :D
GOLD COAST during my middle-of-nowhere holidays! -__- I swear i have the weirdest holidays ever! T_T
I had mixed feelings aboutthis last year because Ting left Aussie for good in March and you cannot imagine the comfort behind having someone so close to you so close to you wtf (Only 1.5 hours flight away, considering i travel 1.5 hours by train to class! -___-). Nothing significant happened in 2011 but i was happy every single day and i think it's these days that i value the most! :) *zen* I have this person to thank for my happy days in Aussie! :)
2011 has been really kind to me! :) I hope this year will be as good, if not better! :)
